Ferrymans
Ferrymans Irish Tavern in the old stone Locomotive Shed on Dock Road, garden umbrellas out front

The Locomotive Shed, Dock Road.

The Waterfront’s original Irish tavern

Pouring Guinness on Dock Road since the Waterfront began — Irish pub fare, live bands, big-screen sport and a garden for slow afternoons.

A proper local, in the middle of a landmark

Ferrymans was one of the first tenants at the V&A Waterfront, and it still runs on the original recipe: traditional Irish cooking, a draught range that takes up serious bar space, bands on the floor and rugby on the screens. Families welcome — there’s a play area and a menu for the small ones.
